Arguably the most anticipated contest so far at Worlds 2020 saw Damwon Gaming face G2. Last year G2 beat Damwon 3-1 in convincing fashion so this years rematch was expected to be a back and forth bloodbath and tightly fought.
Damwon however destroyed G2 in a 3-1 win that saw G2 lose in 20 minutes in game 4!!!
Despite winning one game, G2 looked completely out of place in the other 3 games with Damwon securing an early lead and suffocating G2 easily.
Maybe G2 should have prepped more for the game and less on trash-talk given how easily they got swept aside …
